About Julia Pusker:
Praised by The Strad Magazine for her “magical simplicity” and described as an “aristocrat” of the violin by La Libre, Julia Pusker gained international recognition for her prizewinning performance at the 2019 Queen Elisabeth Violin Competition in Brussels. She has performed with prominent orchestras such as the Belgian National Orchestra, Brussels Philharmonic, and the Budapest Festival Orchestra. Selected for the 2023-24 ECHO Rising Stars programme, Julia will perform in Europe's most prestigious concert halls, including the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, and Wiener Konzerthaus. Julia has also performed at numerous festivals and masterclasses across Europe and collaborated with renowned artists like Gautier Capuçon and Jean-Yves Thibaudet. Her recent recordings include Eric Tanguy’s 2nd Violin Concerto and a solo album titled 'Schubert on Violin.' Born in Hungary, Julia studied at the Liszt Academy in Budapest and the Royal Academy of Music in London, later becoming Artist-in-Residence at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Brussels.
